Tiger 3 Collection Day 1: The Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif spy-universe film recorded an opening day collection of Rs 94 crore worldwide.
Tiger 3 update: On Day 1, despite being Laxmi Puja day, considered slow for the box office due to Diwali celebrations, Tiger 3 made a mark. It earned a solid Rs 52.50 crore in India and Rs 41.50 crore overseas, adding up to Rs 94 crore globally.
Tiger 3 update
Interestingly, Tiger 3’s debut on Diwali broke records, surpassing any Hindi film’s collections on this festive day. The previous record was Rs 22 crore, a combination of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” and Ajay Devgn’s “Son Of Sardaar” in 2012.
Before this, Hrithik Roshan’s “Krrish 3” held the solo movie record for the highest Diwali day collection, earning Rs 15 crore on its third day.
Tiger 3 not only marks Salman Khan’s biggest opening, surpassing “Bharat,” which made Rs 42.30 crore on Eid, a national holiday.
While Tiger 3 might not match Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 releases—Pathaan (Rs 57 crore) and Jawan (Rs 75 crore)—its record-breaking start positions it well for a successful run during the long Diwali holiday.
Industry experts expect Monday and Tuesday to bring in over Rs 120 crore, aiming for a three-day total over Rs 165 crore.
As the third installment in the successful franchise, Tiger 3 stars Katrina Kaif and features Emran Hashmi as the antagonist. It’s part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, along with Hrithik Roshan’s “War” and Shah Rukh Khan’s “Pathaan.”
Tiger 3 Movie Review
Being the fifth in the Spy Universe, Tiger 3 gets praise for Shahrukh Khan’s cameo, a standout moment.
Before Tiger 3, the earlier movies, Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, were blockbuster hits.
Feedback from fans of Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, and Katrina Kaif has been overwhelmingly positive. Critics also give it a solid four-star rating.
Viewers leaving the theaters express satisfaction, especially praising the engaging storyline.
Is Tiger 3 worth watching in the Theatre?
Absolutely! Tiger 3 promises lots of action for an entertaining experience.
The Tiger 3 movie review wraps up on a positive note, acknowledging its great plot, character development, cinematography, sound design, and overall pacing. A reviewer gives it 3.9 out of 5 stars.
Will Tiger 3 be a hit or a flop?
Released on November 12, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger 3 could earn around Rs 40 to 42 crores on the first day. If this momentum keeps up for a few weeks, it’s set to be a hit.
Following the success of Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai in 2013 and 2017, expectations are high for Tiger 3. Predictions hint at a week-long collection over Rs 300 crores, solidifying its hit status.
With an estimated production budget of Rs 300 crores, crossing Rs 500 crores in four weeks or more would make it a super hit.
International releases could boost its earnings, with estimates suggesting around Rs 100 crore overseas in a week. If the total collection hits around Rs 400 crores in a week, Tiger 3 could become a super hit.
When will Tiger 3 release on OTT?
No official date for the OTT release yet, but Amazon Prime Video secured the digital rights for about Rs 200 crores. Speculation suggests a release on December 27, Salman Khan’s birthday, but there’s no official confirmation.
