These rumors sparked because of the growing excitement about the sequel to the hit 2011 movie, “Sanju Weds Geetha,” where Rachita and Srinagara Kitty share the lead roles. The makers officially announced “Sanju Weds Geetha 2” earlier this year.

The original romantic drama, directed by Nagashekhar twelve years ago, featured Ramya and Srinagara in the lead roles. Their on-screen chemistry was a big hit with both critics and audiences, making the film a commercial success.
On August 15 this year, the creators of “Sanju Weds Geetha 2” gave us a brief look at what’s coming.
Sanju Weds Geetha 2, Rachita Ram has other projects lined up, like Matinee, where she stars alongside actor Nagabhushana. She’s also part of the mythological drama “Shabari Searching for Ravana,” directed by Naveen Shetty.
Meanwhile, Srinagara Kitty, celebrating two decades in the film industry this year, is busy shooting for “Buddhivanta 2,” directed by Jaidev.
