Deepfake video of Kajol changing clothes: Deepfakes are like digital chameleons, smoothly swapping one face for another in photos and videos. People are working hard to create tools that can spot these tricky deepfake things and let everyone know they’re out there.

Now, imagine a sneaky video of Bollywood star Kajol showing up on TikTok. In the video, Kajol’s face seems to magically change clothes, making it look like something it’s not. But guess what? The real star of this show is actually a British influencer named Rosie Breen, who originally posted the video as part of a trend called “Get Ready With Me.” Someone played digital dress-up and put Kajol’s face on Rosie’s body.

This isn’t the first time something like this happened. Rashmika Mandanna went through a similar ordeal when a video made her look like she was doing stuff she never did. She bravely spoke up on social media, sharing how scary and harmful this technology misuse can be. Rashmika highlighted that this isn’t just about her; it’s about everyone facing the risk of having their identity messed with. She stressed the importance of all of us coming together to tackle this issue before more people get hurt.
In response to the rising issue of tricky deepfakes, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeiTY) stepped in. They gave a clear warning to social media platforms, reminding them about the rules for dealing with deepfakes under Section 66D of the Information Technology Act, 2000. This rule says that if someone uses devices or computers to trick people by pretending to be someone else, they could face imprisonment and fines. The government wants to make sure our online world is safe from these sneaky digital tricks.
