Affordable New Compact Cars launched: lots of affordable options are popping up. People are really into compact SUVs, hatchbacks, and compact sedans these days. That’s why car makers are focusing more on making smaller cars. Let’s take a look at some new affordable cars that are hitting the Indian market soon.

The new Swift will run on a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine with the codename Z12, swapping out the old 4-cylinder motor. The big deal here is the change from four cylinders to three, giving it a cool 40 kilometers per liter. Alongside this, Maruti Suzuki is also bringing out the Dzire compact sedan.
Tata Punch EV: Tata is making the Punch, their tiny SUV, into an electric version. People have been waiting for this, and it could make Tata Motors even more successful. The Punch Electric is expected to hit the market early to mid-next year with some design changes hinted at in leaked images. Even though electric Tata cars usually look different, the Punch Electric seems to keep its front look. We’re likely to see a closed grille, a common feature in electric vehicles.
Kia Sonet: The Kia Sonet is getting a makeover, taking inspiration from the new Seltos. The refreshed Sonet will be in showrooms early in 2024. A big highlight is the addition of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology, which comes with 7-8 safety features. Inside, there’s a new dashboard, a dual-screen setup, and a 360-degree camera. More info about Affordable New Compact Cars launched Indian Roads!
Mahindra XUV300: Mahindra’s XUV300 has been in the sub-4 meter SUV game for a while without many changes. But now, a facelift is on the way. The updated XUV300 SUV will have regular halogen bulbs, though it’s catching up with a projector-type unit for low beams.
While some competitors have fancier LED headlights, the new XUV300 will sport changes in the front and rear bumpers, grille, and alloy wheels. Expect LED headlamps and taillamps with 3D elements for a more stylish look.
